Require Parent Password for unsafe sync options

Post  DirkKS on Sun Oct 09, 2011 3:37 pm

I have iAllowance installed on both parent iPhones and both kid iPod Touch's in our house, with Dropbox sync. Just one problem -- I have to lecture my kids about the Dropbox popups - they are to always press Sync and never press Edit Anyway. I'd have far more confidence in the integrity of the data file if the parent password were required before they could do "Edit anyway".

Thanks
Dirk

REQUIRE PARENT PASSWORD FOR UNSAFE SYNC OPTIONS

Post  Admin on Wed Oct 19, 2011 10:23 pm

Dirk,

Thanks for your question and sorry for the delayed response. There is a switch under the Auto Sync switch called 'Force Sync' that will do what you want. When this is turned on your kid's devices, if there is a sync needed, they won't get prompted at all. It will just sync.

Let me know if you this does the trick.

Regards,
Jim Spencer
