One time chores

I often have one time chores that don't repeat. Ideas?

Thanks for your question about one-time chores. There is no direct way to do this within the chores themselves. I would recommend that you setup a reward for this one-time chore. You can choose the reward to deposit just as easily as taking away money. When the chore is complete, you can make the appropriate credit.

When you go to set up the Interval, in addition to # of weeks, there could be a choice that says "One Time Only" that continues to show up on each assigned user's dashboard until it's removed by the parent or until it's complete (or if you really want to get fancy you could add the option of an expiration date... so the offer to earn X stars if you do this one-time chore expires on a certain date). We have a lot of one-time chores- and I'm using this for myself for my honey-do list, so I would benefit greatly:)
